Background
I lead a double life at Ugoo. In one life I operate as an allrounder from our office in Amsterdam. In my 10 years at Ugoo I have gained extensive experience with many different subsidy schemes and I have built a valuable relationship with my clients. I like to take full control of every process, so that my clients can rely on my expertise. I am relationship-oriented by nature, which is why I value open and direct communication. The better I know my client, the better I can do my job.
Expertise
In my other life at Ugoo I am a Managing Director. Within our four-person management team, I focus on the people within the organization. For example, I am involved in the recruitment and supervision of experienced colleagues. I see myself as a coaching manager, with the aim of letting someone make independent choices. That's why I like to ask questions to make you think, instead of giving answers. I feel responsible for and involved with the people around me.
Personal
In addition to work, I get a lot of energy from making music with my band, during which I tell myself that I am a rock star for a bit. A nice contrast to real family life; nothing nicer than strolling through “our” Haarlem with my wife and three young children.
