A dedicated sparring partner for innovative companies
I act as a dedicated sparring partner for innovative companies in the Netherlands. Drawing on my expertise in funding schemes, I advise clients on which schemes best align with their roadmap, growth stage and investment plans. For WBSO, I take care of the process from both a substantive and technical perspective, working with the right stakeholders to ensure the scheme is used to its full potential. I also focus on thematic funding schemes for innovation projects that address societal challenges and specific funding calls.
In practice, I speak with existing and new clients every day to structure and position projects and identify the most suitable funding instruments. Together with my colleagues, I then support the entire process, from preparation and submission to follow-up, administration and progress reporting.

My perspective on funding
In an initial conversation, I regularly hear the same three responses: “it’s too much hassle,” “we’re not innovative enough” or “I didn’t know we could get funding for that.” In all three cases, there is often more potential than an entrepreneur initially expects, provided the innovation can be translated into the language of the relevant funding scheme.
I believe funding advice starts with personal contact and a genuine understanding of where a client wants to go. By combining our knowledge and expertise with the client’s roadmap, we make the funding process as seamless as possible. This allows our clients to focus on what they do best: innovating.
DEI+ over multiple years
For MEAF Machines, a developer of extrusion machines, I have been supporting DEI+ projects for several years, focusing on sustainability, CO₂ reduction and circularity in the plastics processing industry. Within these projects, I am closely involved in the technical substantiation, impact calculations and funding strategy. Together, these projects have secured more than one million euros in funding.
