Background
During my education in Biomedical Sciences and Neurosciences, I always thought that innovation mainly takes place within the research world. Because of this I was under the impression that I could only be involved in innovation as a researcher. However, this is not the case and the last internship of my education has shown me that there are many subsidy opportunities in the Netherlands for innovative projects, for both start-ups and large companies. As a consultant at Ugoo, I support these companies in applying for subsidies. In this way I can still be involved in innovation, but not as a researcher.
Personal
My name is Lars and after completing my education I started as Innovation Consultant at Ugoo from the office in Amsterdam. I have a relaxed appearance by nature, which often makes people quickly feel at ease with me. This generally ensures a pleasant and healthy customer relationship. In addition, my education has given me good analytical thinking skills, which means that I often understand new information quickly. As a result, I am well able to explore opportunities together with the customer and to think along about the project.
I also like to have a drink at friends house or in the pub outside work. My favorite holiday is winter sports. I also regularly try to exercise in the Netherlands and I like films and series that are based on a true story.
