As Financial Controller, I am responsible for Ugoo’s financial administration, from the balance sheet and P&L to accounts payable and receivable and financial reporting. With seven years of experience in finance and control, I combine an analytical mindset with practical process improvements, ensuring the numbers are accurate and the work stays structured.

From Audit and Analysis to Finance at Ugoo
I started my career in audit. I soon realised it was not quite the right fit for me, so after a short interim assignment as a financial accountant, I moved into controlling. I then worked as a controller and later as an analyst at a tech company, where my focus was on administration and analysis respectively. At Ugoo, I have been able to combine both skill sets in a role that I find very rewarding.
My day often starts with tasks such as checking the bank accounts and shared inboxes. The rest of my day varies depending on the week of the month. In the first week, I focus on revenue and work in progress, in the second week on payroll, and in the final week on the balance sheet and P&L. I spend the remaining time on financial analyses and projects aimed at further improving processes within Ugoo.

Accounts receivable management with a customer-focused approach
After sending invoices, I monitor their status. When a customer has not paid for an extended period, I get in touch to check whether everything was received or if there is another issue. Together, we look for solutions, such as a payment arrangement, to avoid additional costs.
