I took my first steps in the wonderful world of subsidies in the public sector; from social projects at the local level to major development projects in the humanitarian sector. The common denominator in these experiences is the drive to make a positive contribution to our natural and social living environment. As a consultant at Ugoo, I have the opportunity to continue this line by tackling complex sustainability issues.
Expertise
In addition to the objective environmental benefit of sustainable technological developments, the more subjective social added value of a project is also important. Because of my background in social sciences, I look with a keen eye at the impact of sustainable technological developments on less visible aspects of our society, such as inequality and public health. Supported by my study background in International Business, I then know how to create a strong business case and translate it into a complete subsidy application.
Personal
Curiosity is the common thread in what I do. This is mainly reflected in my passion for cooking, music, and nature. But what I enjoy in particular are endurance sports. Thorough preparation, pushing boundaries, a long breath and the nose focused on the finish line: these are the ingredients for a successful outcome. Whether from a sporting or professional point of view!
