Background
I work as an innovation consultant from our office in Amsterdam, a role in which I combine my passion for innovation and social change. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's in Innovation Science, I have a broad, multidisciplinary background. During my bachelor's, I discovered how crucial it is to contribute to a sustainable future. This realization motivated me to approach sustainability from a broader perspective, with a greater focus on societal and technological solutions. That’s why I chose the Master's in Innovation Science, where I learned how innovations contribute to structural and sustainable change. I delved into topics such as the energy transition and climate resilience. I apply this knowledge daily in my work as a consultant, advising companies on innovative solutions that are both technically feasible and socially impactful.
Since then, my interest in innovation has only grown. I am continuously inspired by creative, groundbreaking ideas and see it as an exciting challenge to help companies bring innovative projects to life.
Expertise
Thanks to my interdisciplinary knowledge, I can quickly grasp innovations, both from a technical perspective and in terms of their societal impact. With my background in biology and sustainability, my affinity lies with green innovations, but my broad expertise allows me to work on a wide range of topics. Working with different clients is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my job. My goal is to collaboratively build a sustainable future, in which technological innovations play a crucial role.
Personal
I work as an innovation consultant from our office in Amsterdam, a role in which I can combine my passion for innovation and social change. As a person, I would describe myself as social, creative, adventurous, and always willing to try new things. I am constantly seeking challenges, both professionally and in my personal life. In my free time, I can often be found with friends, at the gym, or running through Utrecht. I also really enjoy sitting on terraces, and you'll quickly find me there at the first rays of sunshine of the year. Additionally, long-distance travel is a great passion of mine: in recent years, I’ve had the chance to explore much of Asia and South America, and I am definitely not done discovering the world. During the summer months, you’ll also find me at festivals with friends, but besides these adventures, I also really enjoy a quiet moment for myself with a good book in the park.
